Paris Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2025: Where Elegance Meets Empowerment with Senior Pageants Group International (SPGI)

The City of Light once again dazzled the world during Paris Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2025, which ran from September 23 to October 1, 2024. In this city of timeless allure and avant-garde creativity, fashion’s elite, emerging designers, and industry insiders gathered to celebrate the artistry that defines the global fashion scene.

This year’s event brought something truly remarkable—a fresh, empowering twist to the traditional runway. In addition to the much-anticipated shows from iconic maisons like Chanel, Dior, and Louis Vuitton, Paris witnessed the debut of an inspiring group of women: the Ms. Senior Queens from Senior Pageants Group International (SPGI), who made their mark on the world stage.

These incredible women showcased the Spring-Summer 2025 collections by Szonja Dudik, a Paris-based designer whose brand, Queendom, perfectly reflected the style and grace of the Ms. Senior Queens. They also presented collections from Izabela, an Atelier de Couture based in London, known for her custom, made-to-measure designs crafted with passion and love.

Redefining the concept of beauty, these women proved that elegance knows no age. Seven Ms. Senior Queens, representing their pageant circuit, inspired others—especially seniors worldwide—to embrace fashion, confidence, and self-expression. Their presence marked a broader movement in fashion, celebrating diversity not only in ethnicity and size but also in age.

One of the highlights was the participation of the Senior Pageants Group International (SPGI), led by Executive Director Marianne Hamilton and Founding Queen Kathleen Ray. As the media representative for SPGI, I was honored to be part of this exciting celebration, where several titleholders from the 2024 pageant participated in the Paris Fashion Week festivities.
